Funding Summary 2016-2017

2016-2017 Estimated allocation= $40,088

Hooper Elementary students will achieve a 1% gain on the S.A.G.E. end of level test in the areas of language arts and math for students in grades 3-6.

Measurement

Students in grades 3-6 will take the end of level language arts and math test (S.A.G.E. Test) to determine growth.

Students in grades 3-6 will take the DIBELS test at the beginning and end of the school year. The composite score results will be compared to determine the amount of growth for the year.

Reading Action Plan

Students will in grades K-4 will be tested at the beginning of the school year using DIBELS assessments.

All students in grades 3-6 will take the SAGE Interim assessment at the beginning and end of year.

Our Reading Specialist and Reading Aides will work with students who are well below grade level.

Teachers will work with all students using leveled readers, district materials, and informational text.

Professional Learning Communities, Professional development, and Child Study meetings will be scheduled for the purpose of unpacking standards and provide appropriate intervention to struggling students.

Math Goal

Hooper students, in grades 3rd- 6th, will see an overall 1% increase in their SAGE math proficiency scores from the end of the 2015-16 school year to the end of the 2016-17 school year.

Measurement

Students will take the end-of-level SAGE assessment as mandated by the state. The 2016-17 math results will be compared to prior year’s SAGE results to determine the amount of growth for the year.
