Welcome to 2nd Grade!
Dear Students,
We are SO excited to join us in second grade!! Together we can make it a great year filled with fun and learning. In second grade, you will become a better reader! You will also get to learn triple-digit addition and subtraction!
These are suggested items for second grade:
- Instructional items (daily use):
- 1- headphones for personal use
- 8+- dry erase markers for class use
- 1- 1 inch 3-ring binder with clear front (do not permanently label)
- 8+- glue sticks for class Use
- 2- 10 pack markers for personal use
- Non-Instructional items:
- 1- box of tissues
- 1- roll of paper towels
- 1- container sanitizing wipes
- 1- box of bandaids
- 2- reams of white copy paper
- Small rewards, prizes, treats for class store
We welcome any and all donations on behalf of our students. The items on this list will be used during the regular school day for instructional and non-instructional purposes. They may be brought from home on a voluntary donation basis; otherwise, they will be furnished by the school or teacher. Cash donations are also accepted to help fund field trips, other educational activities or to purchase instructional resources for our students. Cash donations in any amount under $250 may be accepted at the school office. Donations over $250 need to go through the Weber School foundation indicating Hooper Elementary as the benefiting school.
