Suggested Supply List

Hooper Elementary will provide basic supplies such as: pencils, crayons and glue.

Suggested  items for each child’s daily instructional use:

  • Backpack that holds 9”x12” folder to carry things to and from school
  • 2-4 Black Skinny Dry Erase Markers
  • Earphones or earbuds that fit your child – labeled with name
  • (1) 3 Prong Poly (plastic) Folder with pockets for weekly homework – labeled with name
  • 2 reams of white paper
  • 1 pink bar eraser

Suggested  items for each child’s daily non- instructional use:

  • 2+ Sanitizing Wipes (Clorox or Lysol type)

Please DO NOT send pencils boxes, crayons, pencil sharpeners, scissors, or pencils.

We also have lots of paper towels & Kleenex at this time.

Please consider donating an item or two from the following lists for whole class use.  Any amount is appreciated  J

Instructional Use: 

  • Cardstock
  • Skinny or fat washable markers
  • Goldfish, M&M’s, Skittles, Cookie Crisp cereal, Gummi Bears, jelly beans – all for sorting & counting activities
  • Mini erasers for math games
  • Extra of any of the Suggested items from above😊

Non-Instructional Use:

  • Snack size Ziploc bags
  • Baby Wipes for hands
  • Small prizes or treats for the prize box

We welcome any and all donations on behalf of our students. The items on this list will be used during the regular school day for instructional and non-instructional purposes. They may be brought from home on a voluntary donation basis; otherwise, they will be furnished by the school. Cash donations are also accepted to help fund field trips, other educational activities or to purchase instructional resources for our students. Cash donations in any amount under $250 may be accepted at the school office. Donations over $250 need to go through the Weber School foundation indicating Hooper Elementary as the benefiting school.
