Purpose of Community Council- Involve families, Improve Education, Prudently Spend Trustland Money

 

Next year with new elementary opening we may lose teachers.  Teachers with the least seniority in the district per team will be leaving.

 

2nd grade team won E+ teaching award for working well together

 

Our CC has the right number of members, we serve 2 year terms, can serve multiple terms, CC meetings are open to everyone.  CC members provide input, vote, develop plans

 

Budget 93,280, we’ve spent about 20,000.  6,000/ month in aid pay

 

128,000 trust land money allocated, sitting at 107,000

 

School Board still considering elementary school boundary, HS and Jr. High boundaries are set

 

RISE SCORES- above state average, better than Quest.  Data on USBE datagateway website.  Everything over 60 is exceptional.  We want growth and proficiency.  Hooper is doing well at both.  Test results are good news.
