Happy Custodian Appreciation Day!
We are so grateful for our amazing custodian, who works tirelessly every day to keep our school clean, safe, and welcoming. His hard work doesn’t go unnoticed—because of his dedication, our school looks fantastic, and we all get to enjoy a beautiful place to learn and grow. Thank you for all you do for our students, staff, and community. You truly make a difference!

It is time for the FUN RUN!

In the garden today! Our Mosaic birdhouse was installed, adding more color to the garden! Thanks Brad and Randy. Mrs. Hardy's class came out to help harvest tomatoes, investigate some bugs and gather some leaves for an art project. The water is now off for the season, but the sky offered some rain today!

The sky above Hooper Elementary this morning! 🌈

Tomorrow is picture day!

Mrs. Hatch's 4th graders got to learn about plant and animal adaptations during a traveling field trip from the Loveland Living Planet Aquarium last week. Students got to learn from animal ambassadors Edgar (Madagascar hissing cockroach) and Stanley (tortoise), as well as through a variety of learning activities.

On Friday, we had the Superintendancy present summer reading and math awards. They also read to each of the grades. Thanks for coming and celebrating with us!

Plinko at West Field. Part of Herd Week and honoring military families.

Mrs. Hatch's 4th graders got their hands a little messy learning about the importance of using kind, helpful, and truthful words today! Just like we struggled to put the toothpaste back in its tube, once words leave our mouths, we can't just put them back. We're going to be thoughtful with our words!

A beautiful, yet storming morning at Hooper Elementary!

Teamwork in Action ~Our amazing 5th grade leaders stepped up last week to help our kindergarteners learn the lunchroom routine. We are so excited about the kindness, patience, and responsibility they showed while helping their peers!

Our Kindergartners are LOVING having lunch at school!!

Stephanie and Naomi from Utah State University (Extension) - Taught us about finding our own energy and then sharing it with others through Tai Chi.

Mrs. Bolingbroke's 2nd grade class in the school garden. They found lots of tomatoes, zucchini, cucumbers, a pumpkin, and a bird's nest.
